| but I would say that a 2 woofers and a tweeter in each door (3ways) biamped/biwired would be overkill. I would say an equalizer is overkill. I would say anything more than a single quality 10 or 12 inch sub is overkill (unless you want that roadshaker, you said you didnt) Peruse the DIYMA classifieds....there are ALWAYS great deals on car audio that wont break the bank, and you will still get awesome stuff. PLEASE REMEMBER: these are my recommendations based on MY ears. YOUR EARS WILL BE DIFFERENT. i.e. Some may say my 4 Q speakers all around are "harsh" and emphasize highs too much, but I love they way they sound so crisp. Keep that in mind. A sidenote: Pioneer has an interesting new lineup called the Stage 4..also my fav affordable speaker MB Quarts Q Line has a new line, the QS216s. Look interesting.
